The twice-a-year “Affaire in the Gardens” art show in Beverly Hills will be held May 19 & 20, 2012 from 10 am to 6 pm. The event has been held in May and October for almost forty years and remains popular because it is fabulous. Local artists, artisans, and the like show their wares to admirers. Much of it is for sale, but looking is free. There are activities for kids, some free, some for a fee. Food trucks abound. Music reverberates among the scenic park setting. Since it is entirely outdoors, bring sunscreen and/or a hat. Also, parking at the municipal lots to the south of the park becomes harder to locate as the day progresses, so plan for extra time to park if you get there in the afternoon. Want to learn more?
