The Kingdom Day Parade in Los Angeles happens each Martin Luther King Day holiday Monday. In 2012, the parade will begin at 11 am at Martin Luther King Blvd and Western Ave, traveling west on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to Crenshaw Blvd. From there, it will head south on Crenshaw Blvd to Vernon Ave. The parade includes hundreds of floats, drill teams, dance groups, celebrities, business and political leaders and some of the best marching bands in the country.
At the conclusion of the Kingdom Day Parade, they’ll be the King-Fest street festival in Leimert Park. This includes two stages of musical performances, exhibit booths, and a full day of activities for the entire family!
