Darn! I hate it when you learn about a cool event only after the fact.

I discovered that earlier today, the little-known Homestead Museum in the City of Industry hosted a free “All About Cowboys” event, as it does every October. (My kids LOVE cowboys stuff–even the girls.) After bewailing the fact I didn’t find out about this early enough to attend this year, I took a look at this nifty museum.

The Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum allows children to experience life as it was in California 1830-1930. It hosts many events, and most of them are free. Why don’t you visit the website (below the break) and find out if there’s one you’d like to attend?
