In Beverly Hills, just north of Wilshire, there’s a charming little park known as Beverly Canon Gardens. Squished in between the Montage Hotel and Bouchon, you’ll find a beautiful fountain, greenspace, tables and chairs. There are several cafes adjoining it, but you can bring a picnic to enjoy this little patch of prettiness in the busy city. It’s a pleasure to enjoy anytime, but on Thursday evenings in the summer, you have another incentive: free concerts held first at 6 p.m., then at 7:15.

Here are the remaining acts for the summer:

8/11 – the Chumbuckets (Rockabilly, Swing)

8/18 – Bill Rotella (contemporary California sounds)

8/25 – The Dustbowl Revival (Folk Blues, Rock N’Roll)

Parking can be found adjacent to the park at 241 N. Canon Dr., and it’s free with validation from the Concert Information table.
